Celebrating Earth Month with “Step Into Wonder” Campaign Led by National Geographic

In April 2026, National Geographic invites audiences everywhere to discover, experience, and celebrate the wonder of our natural world – sparking a deeper commitment to protect it.

Leading The Walt Disney Company’s Earth Month campaign, “Step Into Wonder”, National Geographic brings audiences closer to the extraordinary moments of awe unfolding around us every day. Across Nat Geo platforms, audiences will discover iconic photography, authentic stories of impact and engaging social content, that reveal both the beauty and resilience of our planet – grounded in science, exploration, and storytelling.

At the heart of this celebration is new content designed to inspire action through storytelling. On Disney+, “Secrets of the Bees” headlines the Earth Month collection, inviting viewers to step into the wonder of one of nature’s most fascinating worlds.

Hosted by National Geographic Explorer Bertie Gregory, alongside entomologist Samuel Ramsey, the series uses groundbreaking filming technology to uncover the intelligence, complexity, and critical importance of bees – capturing never-before-seen behaviours.

“For its fifth anniversary, ‘Secrets of’ turns its lens to one of Earth’s smallest yet most vital heroes: bees,” says executive producer James Cameron. “Far more than pollinators, bees are socially complex, fast-thinking individuals and the most important insects on our planet. Their impact on the natural world and humanity is immeasurable, and we’re only just beginning to see how extraordinary they truly are.”

Produced by Silverback Films for National Geographic, the series is part of a wider global effort to connect audiences with the natural world.

With a social reach of over 780 million followers, National Geographic continues to inspire millions to step into wonder – sparking curiosity, discovery and a deeper connection with the natural world.
