Disney Parks, Experiences and Products is unveiling its very first collection inspired by and benefitting Make-A-Wish® — the Wishes Come True Blue Colour Collection – commemorating 40 years of Disney and Make-A-Wish working together to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses and bringing magic to wish kids and guests.
The Wishes Come True Blue Colour Collection, the first-ever Disney colour collection that pays tribute to a non-profit’s impact, is inspired by the official colour of Make-A-Wish and the stars on the collection are reminiscent of the star in the Make-A-Wish logo.
The collection, available now at Disneyland Paris and online at shopdisney.co.uk, shopdisney.fr, shopdisney.de, shopdisney.es and shopdisney.it, offers a wide assortment of products including spirit jerseys, Minnie Mouse ear headbands (the first-ever adjustable children’s Mickey Mouse ear headband that allows children of all abilities to wear their ears with comfort and joy), a mini backpack and wristlet by Loungefly and more.
Sales from the Wishes Come True Blue Colour Collection across Europe, the US & Canada, have generated a US $500,000 donation to Make-A-Wish organisations to help grant wishes for children. Click here to access the full terms and conditions and local charity details
For the past 40 years, Disney and Make-A-Wish have been providing magic to wish kids and their families when they need it most, starting with the very first wish granted at the Disneyland Resort in 1980. Disney is the largest wish granter in the world, having fulfilled more than 140,000 wishes globally. These experiences not only brighten lives for a special moment, but also help wish children and their families build emotional resilience and help replace fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope. “It’s been an honour to work with Disney to grant wishes and create priceless memories for so many families. I hope this new collection of Make-A-Wish-inspired items will bring joy to guests much like Disney wishes have brought joy to wish kids for the last 40 years,” said Make-A-Wish president and CEO, Richard K. Davis. “Disney is the largest wish-granter on earth, and we’re thankful for everyone who helps transform lives by supporting our organization and making wishes come true.”
Disney’s Social Purpose

Disney’s long-standing partnership with Make-A-Wish® is an example of how, through working with others, we help build emotional resilience. Together we bring the power of our brand, stories and characters to inspire and create Moments that Matter for children and those closest to them when they need it the most. Make-A-Wish International
Make-A-Wish® creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We seek to bring every eligible child’s wish to life because every child deserves a childhood. Research shows children who have wishes granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight their illness. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the wish that inspired the founding of the organization in 1980. Since then, Make-A-Wish has become the world’s leading children’s wish-granting organization, serving children in nearly 50 countries worldwide. Together, generous donors, supporters, staff and more than 43,000 volunteers unite to deliver hope to wish kids and their families when they need it most. In total, Make-A-Wish has granted more than 500,000 wishes; more than 33,000 wishes in 2019 alone.
