The much-anticipated next installment in the Star Wars saga, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, is released in cinemas on December 14th and to support the release, Disney is offering a wide portfolio of products to appeal to adults, children and collectors alike; ideal for the Christmas period.

Part of one of the top-performing and most-loved franchises worldwide, Star Wars: The Last Jedi sees the return of some familiar faces, as well as the introduction of new characters, giving licensees a wealth of material for innovative new product ranges.

Key products now available at the Disney Store and in major retailers nationwide, across a range of licensees and price points, include everything from tech and collectable figures to books and costumes.

For fans of technology, LittleBits is offering a Droid Inventor Kit (£99.99 from John Lewis, Amazon, Apple and the Disney Store) allowing kids to create and customise their own droid, bring it to life and send it on over sixteen missions. Additionally, The Last Jedi will introduce the villainous, First Order BB-9E droid, now available from Sphero.com and all good retailers as an app-enabled droid (£149.99) building on the success of the previous BB-8. Fans of BB-8 can also still test their building skills with the LEGO BB-8 kit (£84.99 from all good retailers). Inspired by the technology of the films, Philips are also offering consumers a new range of Star Wars inspired shavers, starting with the R2-D2 shaver, from electronics specialists, department stores and online at £74.99.

Lenovo appeals to the growing popularity of AR with its smartphone-powered Jedi Challenges experience (£249.99 from Lenovo.com, Game, Currys and all good retailers), allowing one to perfect their lightsaber skills. Hailed by Argos as the Top Toy for Christmas, Wow! Stuff’s Jedi Training Remote (£29.99 from all good retailers) allows would-be Jedi to top up their skills, while Hasbro gives players the chance to go to either the light side or the dark side with the Choose Your Path Lightsaber (£49.99 from all good retailers), which re-creates thrilling battle scenarios with full sound effects.

Collectors will be delighted to see a new range of POP! figures from Funko, including everyone’s favourite Wookiee, Chewbacca (£12.99 from all good retailers), while new characters, the Porgs, are featured in a range of products available at the Disney Store including Porg ceramic mugs (£12.99).
