This afternoon, the nominations were unveiled for the 2025 BAFTA Television Craft Awards and the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards, with The Walt Disney Company receiving a total of 19 nominations.
The Walt Disney Company has achieved a record number of nominations, up by 13 from 2024.


Titles nominated included: “Rivals”, “Extraordinary”, FX’s “Say Nothing”, FX’s “Shōgun”, “In Vogue: The 90s”, “Billy & Molly: An Otter Love Story” and “Tiger”.
Disney+ ranks second among streamers for total nominations, with Netflix receiving 26, Disney+ 19, and Apple TV+ 13. Rivals is tied for the second most nominated series overall, with “Slow Horses” and “Mr Bates vs The Post Office”, behind only Netflix’s “Baby Reindeer”. Disney+ is also the only streamer or broadcaster with two titles nominated in the International category.
The Bafta Television Craft Awards Nominations
In EMEA Originals, “Rivals” received three nominations in the categories for: ‘Leading Actor’ (David Tennant), ‘Supporting Actress’ (Katherine Parkinson) and was nominated for the ‘Memorable Moment Award’ (voted for by the public)
“In Vogue: The 90s” received one nomination in the category for ‘Factual Entertainment’, and “Extraordinary” received one nomination in the category for ‘Male Performance in a Comedy’ (Bilal Hasna).



In General Entertainment, FX’s “Say Nothing” received three nominations in the categories for ‘International’, ‘Leading Actress’ (Lola Petticrew) and ‘Supporting Actress’ (Maxine Peake). Additionally, FX’s Shōgun received one nomination in the category for ‘International’.
National Geographic’s “Billy & Molly: An Otter Love Story” received one nomination in the category for ‘Specialist Factual’.
The BAFTA Television Craft Awards Nominations
In EMEA Originals, “Rivals” received four nominations in the categories for ‘Make Up & Hair Design’, ‘Scripted Casting’, ‘Original Music: Fiction’ and ‘Production Design’
In general General Entertainment FX’s “Say Nothing” received one nomination in the category for ‘Photography and Lighting: Fiction’, and FX’s Shōgun received one nomination in the category for ‘Photography and Lighting: Fiction’.


For our Studios, Tiger received one nomination in the category for ‘Original Music: Factual’
National Geographic’s “Billy & Molly: An Otter Love Story” received two nominations in the category for ‘Director: Factual’ and ‘Photography: Factual’.
