Jan Koeppen was appointed President of The Walt Disney Company EMEA in 2019 with responsibility for leading the EMEA business commercially and operationally in over 130 markets across the region. His responsibilities include among others Disney+, motion pictures, television, content licensing and local original productions.
Prior to joining Disney, Jan was President, Fox Networks Group, Europe and Africa for five years, joining after five years at 21st Century Fox as its Chief Operating Officer, Europe and Asia. Jan started his career at BCG where he worked for 15 years.

Kakhaber Abashidze is the Country Manager for The Walt Disney Company CEE, including the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) , having been appointed to the role in April 2019. Kakhaber is responsible for Disney’s channels, direct to consumer and theatrical operations in the region.
Kakhaber joined Disney in 2008 as Vice President, Channel Distribution covering Italy, Iberia, CEE, Africa and Emerging Markets. In addition to his channel distribution remit, Kakhaber had expanded the responsibility of leading Disney’s media distribution activities as General Manager for Türkiye, Greece, Israel, Middle East and Africa.
Prior to joining Disney, Kakhaber served in commercial leadership roles at Jetix Europe before taking on the position of Regional Manager of Fox International Channels.

Paolo Agostinelli is Senior Vice President, Affiliate and Content Distribution, for The Walt Disney Company EMEA. He is responsible for affiliate distribution agreements of channels and direct-to-consumer propositions across Disney’s combined entertainment, kids, factual and sports portfolio. Paolo is also responsible for Disney’s content sales business.
Prior to this role Paolo spent 13 years at 21st Century Fox; first at Sky Italia and Sky India, where he was Chief Content & Business Development Officer, and then at Fox Networks Group, where he was Executive Vice President, Distribution, for Europe & Africa. Paolo started his career at Bain & Company, where he worked for ten years.

Simon was appointed Country Manager Spain & Portugal in 2010, and expanded his remit to include Africa in 2020, as well as Greece, Israel and the Middle East in 2023. He currently leads all Disney Entertainment and Sports activities in these regions, with a particular focus on Disney+ growth. In 2024 he was appointed the interim DTC lead for EMEA, in addition to his existing responsibilities.
Simon joined Disney in 1995 in Business Development. Since then, he has held a wide range of content, distribution and business leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company across EMEA. Prior to this, he co-founded and managed an investment and consulting firm for six years in Madrid, and previously spent two years at Shearson Lehman Brothers in New York as a Corporate Finance Associate.

Deborah Armstrong was appointed as Senior Vice President, General Manager Media Networks and Advertising EMEA and Country Manager UK & Ireland in 2021. Deborah leads on the management of Disney’s media networks across EMEA, as well as advertising sales and partnerships, including for Disney+. As Country Manager, Deborah has responsibility for all Disney’s UK and Irish businesses and activities.
Prior to this role, Deborah joined The Walt Disney Company following the acquisition of 21st Century Fox following a tenure of 22 years in which she held a variety of leadership roles. Deborah started her career in roles at M&C Saatchi and Leo Burnett before joining CNBC & NBC in 2002.

Simon was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in 2014 with responsibility for the financial functions across the region, including commercial finance, financial planning and analysis, shared accounting services and controllership, cost management and tax services.
Simon joined The Walt Disney Company in 1995 and has held a number of senior finance roles within the business.
Simon qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London.

Marco de Ruiter was named Country Manager for The Walt Disney Company Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg in 2019. In this role, Marco is responsible for more than 3,000 hours of live sports programming every year in The Netherlands. Marco is also responsible for the local media businesses.
Prior to joining Disney, Marco held a wide range of executive roles at FOX Networks Group (FNG). Before FNG, Marco was an executive at Viacom for 11 years, where he was responsible for the operations in all countries and also acted as Managing Director for Viacom’s International Media Centers.
Marco began his career in retail and e-commerce, as Finance Manager for Ceteco in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

Hélène Etzi was appointed Country Manager and General Manager Media, The Walt Disney Company France in 2019. In this role, Hélène has responsibility for all The Walt Disney Company’s French business activities, including Disney+, TV channels and content sales.
Prior to her current role, Hélène served as General Manager Disney Channels EMEA and before as Chief Marketing Officer for Disney in France in addition to her role of Managing Director of Disney Channel France.
Prior to joining Disney, Hélène was Director of Sales and Marketing at Easynet and previously was at Telco Orange.

Daniel Frigo is Country Manager of The Walt Disney Company Italy and Türkiye. In this role, Daniel is responsible for all lines of business across Disney’s portfolio of brands and properties in the regions. He is also responsible for Studio Distribution in Italy.
For over 20 years, prior to moving to his role as Country Manager Italy and Türkiye, Daniel held a wide range of studio distribution and leadership roles in EMEA and the United States including serving as Executive Vice President and General Manager of The Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Group EMEA.

Amy Holland was appointed Vice President, Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility, EMEA in 2023. In this role, Amy is responsible for Corporate and Internal Communications as well as Social Responsibility.
Prior to this role, Amy was Director of Comms and Social for Disney+ and Media Networks. Previously, Amy worked at Sky for nine years, most recently as Head of Corporate Reputation and Campaigns.
Amy began her career at full-service consultancy, Ketchum.

In addition Lee leads Disney Theatrical Group & Disney Music Group.

Nikki Keat was appointed Chief Regional Counsel in 2023. Nikki is responsible for all legal and regulatory matters impacting Disney’s businesses in EMEA.
For over 27 years, prior to taking up the Chief Regional Counsel role, Nikki held a wide range of senior legal roles at The Walt Disney Company across EMEA, APAC and LATAM.
Nikki is a qualified solicitor, and prior to joining Disney worked in media and IP law in London for Stephens Innocent and RCP&G.

She joined from ProSiebenSat.1 held a number of leadership roles for ten years, most recently as their Chief Digital Officer, Entertainment. Eun-Kyung started her career at Bertelsmann AG DirectGroup in China, Germany and France.

In this role, Nami Patel is responsible for driving long-term profitable growth and optimizing business performance in EMEA. She leads direct to-consumer strategy and strategic planning across Disney Entertainment lines of business, including identifying growth opportunities, new launches and partnerships, and M&A activity. Nami also oversees content planning and analysis, and brand management for the region.
Nami joined The Walt Disney Company following the acquisition of 21st Century Fox, where she was Senior Vice President Business Development for Fox Networks Group (FNG) Europe & Africa and Chief Financial Officer for FNG’s UK operations. She started her career at Deloitte, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

In this role Nick leads all distribution activities across Theatrical and Physical Home Entertainment, including Disney, Walt Disney Animation, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, LucasFilm Ltd, Twentieth Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures.
A Disney veteran of 29 years, Nick has held a wide range of commercial leadership and financial roles prior to his current position.
Nick started his career at BMW UK and Metropolitan Brewing. Nick is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA).

Claire Terry has led the EMEA Disney Consumer Products business since 2022. She is responsible for bringing the Disney, Pixar, MARVEL, Star Wars, National Geographic and 20th Century brands into the lives of families and fans in region through innovative products and experiences, including Games and Publishing.
During her two decades-long tenure at Disney, Claire has been instrumental in establishing the growing licensed Health and Beauty, as well as Food businesses. In addition, she has been in multiple leadership roles across Retail and Operations in region.
She sits on the Board of global youth charity Girl Up, supporting her passion for upskilling new generations and developing future leaders.

Hans van Rijn was appointed as Country Manager, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Media, for The Walt Disney Company Nordic in 2019, after joining the company from Fox Networks Group (FNG) where he served as Nordic General Manager. In 2020, responsibilities for the Baltics were added, and Hans now oversees ten lines of business in eight countries, and a team spread across four offices in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.
Prior to his role at FNG, Hans was Vice President, Digital Strategy and Business Development for Discovery Networks International, and has held executive roles at Prosieben and SBS Broadcasting Group.
